Rehabilitation started at kilometer 185+486.78 and ended at kilometer 211+767 just at the outskirts of the town of Dospat. Road class: Second; Designed speed: 40 kilometers per hour (30 kilometers per hour in certain areas); Minimum horizontal curve radius: 12.00 meters; Size: G8 – 5.50/8.00 meters; Lanes: 2 х 2.75 m; Lead strips: 2 х 0.25 M; Shoulders: 2 х 1.00 m.
Repairing the road surface required various preparatory local repairs. Some areas had to be reconstructed and others were reinforced and levelled by laying down low-density asphalt-concrete base layers under the wear-resistant surface layer. To ensure optimal drainage, all existing gutters were cleaned and new ones were constructed. Prefabricated u-shaped concrete profiles were installed and the drainage system of the road was rehabilitated using concrete curbs and gutters. As a result 88 gutters were repaired and 11 new ones were installed. The entire section of road was equipped with a new steel fence and railings where needed. Agromah repaired all shoulders, curbs, sidewalks, slopes, etc. 8 medium-voltage power lines were also reconstructed in this section of road.
